  1. Remove soiled clothing and blot the stain with a dry cloth. We must act carefully so as not to rub the ink into the fabric.

  4. Dip a cosmetic cotton pad in the selected stain remover and process the stain with a gentle blotting motion. To avoid its spreading, it is necessary to act from the periphery to the center. No need to rub the contaminated area in different directions. This way inks can be embedded even more firmly in fabric fibers.
  5. Periodically change the cosmetic disc to fresh.

  7. If you decide to wash your clothes before washing, do not add too hot water to the basin, as ink may settle on the fabric fibers. For these purposes, suitable warm or cool water.

Using a stain remover is not at all difficult. It is enough for this to have on hand some water (preferably warm). Moisten the stain and rub it with a pencil so that foam is formed. Alcohol and alcohol-containing liquids (which contain at least 40% alcohol) are perfect for removing ink. You can take ammonia, medical alcohol or cologne. Alcohol will help to cope not only with stains from the pen, but with traces of markers. Valerian tincture There is almost every home kit. It is very effective in the fight against ink stains and, moreover, is perfectly safe for fabric. In order to remove such complex contaminants with the help of Valerian tincture, it is necessary to act similarly to the method with alcohol. Cotton pads, moistened in this tool, absorb almost all the ink, and then remove the remnants of contamination. Valerian has a very peculiar smell. Milk You can remove ink stains from any of the most delicate fabric (silk or wool), without fear of spoiling it. To use it, the milk must be heated and then put the contaminated area of ​​clothing there for about 30 minutes. After soaking clothes can be washed.

Vinegar to combat ink stains can be used in two ways:

Turpentine may remove ink stain, but it is not used for all types of fabrics. In addition, it does not smell too good and things after such treatment will have to be washed using concentrated aromatic detergents. To remove the stain with turpentine, moisten a clean cloth in it and carefully clean the dirt from the edges to the central part. For greater efficiency, turpentine can be mixed with ammonia.

Acetone remover containing acetone,suitable for those fabrics, the paint of which is resistant to such effects (pre-test means!). This substance can remove traces of not only ink, but also markers, helium pens.

Materials such as leather and wool require special treatment. Let's take a look at what needs to be done if all of a sudden such things turn out to be smeared with ink.

1. To wipe the stain off the skin, you can use one of the following methods:

  • Take vaseline or any greasy cream, apply it to the blot and wait 5 minutes. Then erase the remnants of the cream and ink with a clean cloth.
  • Spray hairspray on the contaminated area, and then wipe it with a cosmetic disc. The procedure must be repeated as many times as necessary to completely eliminate the stain.
  • Mix finely ground salt with lemon juice. Treat the stain with the mixture, rub a little and leave for a couple of hours. Then, with a damp cloth, remove the remaining salt, wipe dry and polish the treated area with a wool cloth soaked in turpentine.
  • Apply a layer of glycerin for one hour. After wiping it off from the treated surface with a cloth.
  • Use a special pencil designed to destroy ink stains from leather goods.

Do not forget that stains from things from genuine leather can not be removed with acetone and other means in which it is contained.

2. To wash things out of wool, you can use such tools:

  • Vinegar.
  • Boiled Milk.
  • Valerian tincture.
  • Glycerol.
  • Mustard.
